I'm looking for some help here!

See that rather nasty looking black streak on the left of the picture? Well, does anyone know what the hell might be causing it? The camera in question is a Rolleicord III (I think). At first I thought maybe it was a light leak but hey, a light leak would show up as a bright patch rather than a dark patch right?

Any help would be greatly (and I mean GREATLY) appreciated.
